I went with frosted glass background, not sure what to make of it but it's different.

Hallo Maria , yes I am aware of those uhm , complications...
hence I am going to space my tiles ( 3x 600x600) 5mm from the bottom , and connect some airline tubing to a strong internal pump's outlet to blow everything underneath out...and letting the overflow do it's work

That looks lekker .. hope it is not a snug fit ... tiles will expand at a different rate than glass with heat etc.

Wonder what will attract more algae .. glass or tiles ?

    Later Ferdie

it does look nice hey , I have it spaced 2-3mm from all sides , I don't really care about algae because of the algae scrubber , it takes care of that

If that was my tank, I would have had angels or gouramis in it.

Like I said on another thread, everyday I see something on this website I wanna try. This is one of them. And to try all of these things, I would have to own a large warehouse and be Bill Gates' son or something.

Think what a hundred neons or glowlights would look like in that tank.
