    You water parameters can be spot on , yet you can still have greenish water which is under filtration

    Green water is caused by floating algea which is the result of too many nutrients - nitrates - and light, filtration removes and converts ammonia to nitrite and then nitrate. Nitrates are not removed by filtration, but by waterchanges.
