Xingu pair spawned again

 

As did the one pair of Rams on the other side of the same piece of driftwood. Excuse the pic quality. Lights out already.

 

That is always exciting but I guess the chances of babies in a big community tank are slim which is a pity...

That being said... my acaras and geos had babies in the community tank so... nothing is impossible.. lets hold thumbs

 

Chances are slim to none for the Rams as I have several bristle noses that normally munch the eggs at night and zero chance for the discus unfortunately. Still nice to see.

They do spawn on a regular basis.

love your plant idea, are you running a a line into tank and plants feeding of tank nitrates? Thou fish look in too good condition for there to be enough nutrients in the water for the plants.

Thank you. I only dose scape complete as the plants are not very demanding.
