Guys this is you Q&A thread. Are there any concerns or questions you have? We cannot deal with them if we do not know. There is a lot of action going on on the plant competition thread. Contact Moolis if you are still interested in giving it a go. There is a lot one can do. I will give a more comprehensive update on Wednesday night and look forward to meeting all you peep's at AquariumExpo2012
Hmmm..... Wednesday night...Hectic week...... Ok the expo is upon us. Your organisers are getting last minute requests left right and center. Sorry guys you all had months to get them in so we are going with what is on the Aquarium Expo Web. There are a few surprises in store for all that will not be able to make the trip to JHB. Yes watch this space. And there are a few surprises for those that attend as well. You will have to be their to find out. Keep up the enthusiasm on the planted tank competition, I am sure the guys organising are doing their best. Please support. Those attending, Friday night is the group get together's, use the dinner preference pole to get an indication of who would like to eat where. There is going to be so much of a buzz on Friday evening that i am sure, if you are unsure, you could join a group doing something. Remember this is a family thing so bring along the family, extended family, even the x if you want. :cheesy: Any other questions? From our side we wish you all a great experience on our first AquariumExpo2012. ENJOY
@KGB How about posting a map, or a link, of how to get to the expo, with "where to park" and how to get to the expo.
Parking wise ideally you'd park near the entrance with the huge EMPERORS PALACE sign and a little NuMetro sign below it to the right. Most likely you will have to park wherever you can find parking though. The entrance to the expo is close to NuMetro, Nandos and Spur.
The map on how to get there is here. Map and Directions - Aquarium Expo As you come into Emperors Palace, through the parking toll gates the first building is one of the hotels. The second one is the entrance to the "new metro" theatre and the center court conferencing venue. Lot of parking all around. Check out the video also on the AquariumExpo web.
If you want to see a freshwater planted setup, live on the stage, then Saturday would be good. We are starting at 13:30. So be there!!! We're setting the stand up tomorrow!! I'm so excited.
@Sean J, I read in one of the other threads that you had a time change and would be doing the demo from 15:30 to 17:30 or something like that, so now what is the actual time?
Yes guys the Speaker times were reshuffled slightly to accommodate Mr Julian Sprung. Please recheck the talk times here. http://www.aquariumexpo.co.za/guests.php
