I wouldn't change anything, they love the conditions they in that's why they are breeding, you are doing things right there so why change. They bossy because they protecting that area due to the probability of breeding again. As Reedfish also stated earlier, they are young parents and have to learn what to do.Get yourself a small breeding tank,it will simplify matters.:)

I hear you, but my concern is for the other fish. They are even nipping at the big catfish, who just lay around all day. That's why I thought to move them now. And after a while, they will most probably mate again in the new tank. I was thinking of doing a water change on my big tank, and I can use that water in the other tank and Pop them in there.

So long story short, angels are settled in another tank, and once again there is harmony in my big tank... Until about an hour ago. I took a clip of my 2 rosy barbs, not sure if they fighting or mating... Anybody have an idea?//cloud.tapatalk.com/s/5acfb6d0c1a51/VID_20180412_214056.mp4

Sorry that all the eggs were gone. I have watched a few videos on raising Angelfish and it looks quite easy if you already have a spare cycled tank set up.

That pair spawned another 3 times. The last time the they turned into wrigglers, but I was unprepared, and I didn't have brine shrimp, so they died. The fourth spawn, was successful, and they are baby angelfish now. They about 5 weeks old, and there is about 60 of them.

The first photo is about 2 weeks old, second photo is about 4 weeks old. I don't have newer photos, but I'll post in next week. 7ce6adb38dcb6eae92c411079bb22bec.jpge0fd2b31ffa04c0e118ce5a87290a760.jpg

The funny thing about this pair is that I got them from somebody else. He had them just less than a year, and they never spawned. I had them less than a month and they spawned for the first time. And from what I understand, they are quiet picky when it comes to pairing up, so the fact that a smokey blue paired up with a pearl gold in my option is strange.
