Ancistrus spawn!

Not sure what fishies you have, you mentioned tetras earlier.. ? One week old plecos would be a tasty 'live food' snack for most. I would suggest getting one of those cheap live bearer net cages and suspend it in your tank, fill it with some floating plants and start a powered spirulina diet followed by a slice of blanched marrow. This worked well for me with my first surprise spawning and all six babies captured were moved into another tank within a month or so and all have now reached adulthood. Depending on the predatory instincts of your other fish, you might want to isolate the fry from the floor of their cage by using something like a plastic ice cream container lid, so they do not get sucked out by other fish from below. As I say if they can stay in your pipe enclosure thing that would be first prize.
