    lol and people who have never kept a big CA cichlid as me why i do not vacuum gravel every week or why i do not put rocks back where they where or why i do not have decorations
    this is why
    also why i love the fish

    @top dog i really wanted to but the funds wont allow at this moment, but if he stil has it by end of next month id like to go have a look, im busy scraping cash together for his festae and smaller setup. hows your festae looking?

    @woestynbaber dankie maat ek het hulle so n jaar en 3 maande nou noggie gespawn nie ek besig met hulle tank dan sal ek hulle try.
    Hulle was so 6-7cm toe ek hulle gekry het

    as jy besluit om hul te spawn, voer n paar guppys blood worms en flakes tot hulle nie eers kyk na kos nie, chuck hulle in vir n snack, vis se kleure sal pop en kanse is die wyf sal begun bou aan haar eiers en manetjie sal sy daans skoene af stof.

    skies, by gese na hul ge kwarentyn is en paraguard gedose is,na ek my eie feeders begun teel het en so af en toe n paar vir my vis voer het ek regtig n verskil kleur en gedrag gesien.

    morning guys
    this thread has been quiet for to long.. I've always had a soft spot for the large cichlids and have decided to give them a try.. reason behind this is I need a fish that can stand up for itself as my Red Tail Golden is way to much of a bugger... for the first day or so he would chance them but once they started standing up to him he has calmed down.... will get some more pics of the rest of them and upload.....

    nice choice on fish always found zontas to be at the bottom end of CA aggression scale and have great individual color, have enough fight back to stay safe, are supper quick and agile and thrive in large groups on big tanks
    thanks for reviving old thread will post some pics as day goes on
