Sumps are easy though. Plants not so much. Can't kill a sump :lol: I'm actually going to be making another soon. I'm sure one day you'll have a tank with one

The Bolivian rams have fry, not sure how long they’ll last

Congratulations...they seem to be a few days old already so definitely a chance of a few survivors. Feed finely crushed flakes to all fish now so they can get some food to aid their survival

Seems like they all got eaten overnight. The large SAE might be the biggest culprit.
On Friday I moved across the pencil fish from quarantine, they’re doing great- will try get pics later.

Ah that's sad to hear. I'm sure the pencil fish must be really enjoying the new tank

    Thanks @Shabir @Whoknows
Managed to get a few pics of the pencil fish and general tank shots. Just scraped the glass so water not 100% clear

Pity the fry didn't make it.
Breeding fish in a community tank is really difficult.

Unless they're African cichlids.. one per brood will always find a way to survive

I have not had 1 Tang fry survive in the 2 years I have had my current setup
But I do remember that when I had my Malawis, the odd random one did make it.

My rocks are set up in the shape of boulders with small crevices so only fry can fit. When I'm changing water I just put the hose in the crevices to remove waste and it seems to be working
