    Yeah I like it too, will maybe try get some water lettuce as well. Gets good sun and as you say, actually a decent volume there.
    Would appreciate a few minnows if yours get busy again! Can swap when the rams are bigger. For now though, will see how the shrimp get on.

    We introduced 2 tadpoles last year, they were both small frogs at the beginning of winter. I would imagine the one I saw now was one of those, it has grown. Will keep my eyes peeled for the other one :)

    Hey @f-fish Thanks just thought of you today! Well actually I think of you each time I look at the corkscrew Val and wonder when you’ll surface on the forum again :)

    I found it at Perky Pets in Diepriver but the one I have is just 150L so way too small for kois. I keep White Cloud Mountain minnows in there - very small fish.

    I don’t think they stock the plastic ponds anymore but you could give them a ring. I’ve heard that Stodel’s in belville stocks plastic ponds but also not sure if they’re big enough for koi long term.

    I’ve never kept goldfish or koi myself so can’t advise on size. I’ll post a link to my previous pond thread- there are folks with much more pond experience that offered input.

    I kept my koi in the 60l corner to get them tame. Than moved them to a 90l plastic pond. They are waiting for me to finish their 2000l pond. Only need a little money lol.

    But that steel pond you have is perfect. Only have 10 kois smaller than 10cm

    @A new day
    Is there only the 1 frog ??
    Would be nice if you could have some tadpoles in there. Am sure your son would love that
