its sold as an Leopard Gourami but the link below has a bit more info. Its a labyrinth fish which is maybe where the gourami tie comes in,

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leopard_bush_fish

they are surprisingly docile and beautiful to watch..

I've been meaning to take a drive up your side to check this shop out - so they're pretty good? Decent stock variety in equipment and fish?

Sorry about the leak man, serious headache on a tank that size!

Yeah they are pretty good. You need to time your visits in line with their deliveries as they sell out of interesting stock quite fast. There is a good variety of tropical fish, African cichlids, salt water etc and he has excellent plant specials. In terms of equipment there isn't too much but they do have a nice fluorite alternative for about R300. I would definitely say its worth a visit if you can make it up this end. There is also Hillcrest Pets which is just around the corner and Creatures and Critters in Bothas Hill. They do have a FB page (something exotic).
My offices are in Westville and I have reps in and about toti, if there is anything specific you are looking for im happy to pick it up for you...

Shot man! Nah, I just like looking, I don't have the cash for much these days (second kid on the way next month)! I am looking for a bolivian ram pair, but Euro Spirit has promised me that they'll get some in this Thursday. I've driven past Creatures and Critters twice in the last two months (been to two weddings, got another three before the end of the year!) but haven't managed to go check it out, I wasn't sure if they had a decent aquarium section. But now that I know, I'll prepare my wife in advance that I'm gonna check it out on our way to the next wedding! Sorry for the hijack man, thanks for the info, keep updating us on your bush fish and other African additions!

It seems to be seeping out from under the tank, its slow but constant. This tank had been repaired before so it was always a possibility but it was fine initially. Its on a hard wood cabinet so I cant take the chance that the wood will rot. Will have to empty it and try to get it sorted this weekend. Too much sadness.. it was just coming right !

Thank you bud, also had to cancel my Apisto order.. I was going to house them in the tank initially until my breeding setup was finished.. eish eish eish.

Lets just put faith in the magical symbiosis of glass and silicone #pray
