Thanks man - I need to check the thread but I think I might have lost some plant types during the neglect, gonna go hunting for them to day should I rescape it a bit more.

Lol - yeah a trim for sure ... but then what ..

KNO3 - dry dose maybe once a month tip of a spoon - no measured science behind what I do most of the time ;-)

Did a trim - donated some plants and cutting but I want to do something else with this one - but need it to come of the heater juice first.

No point in starfire glass if you do not clean it ...

Yeap ... gonna leave it for a few weeks and see what the growth is really like.

Timer went a bit whack since we had no power for a few hours so I need to give this a few days at min.

See Help with LED light chips

Fishpanda started me on this 4 weeks ago - I have tracked down the suppliers on aliexpress.com also but like to support the locals when they have stock Improved Living PE - Products - hey next days shipping is way better than waiting 6-8 weeks.

I have tested several LED of the last few months .. and these tube replacement LED's seem to be the thing to use =- wish I could get them in 3ft - but yes less degradation in intensity. But I am running this without any diffuser or cover so unless you are OK with a potential electrocution, since this is straight 220V - stay clear.

Been slowly clearing the stock the tank .. not sure where I am going with this. BTW back on the T5's - LED did not like the water from condensation ;-)

    Before the swop meet ..

At the moment - after removing yet more and donating it.

Need to consider what I want to scape in this tank.

Lol - yeah, trust they went to OK homes. I am going through a bit of a weird patch, in the mood for scaping but not for preparing a tank. Maybe this is the catalyst I need to get going before the winter hibernation.
