Hi @f-fish i see you are using the JBL proscan, how effective and accurate do you find the tests?

hmm - hard to say since I have nothing to compare it with. Since I am colour dumb - this really is the best I can do. Chlorine and CO2 is always zero for me ... but that could be because well I do not expect to have chlorine and the CO2 is calculated.

The rest seems to hold some truth, one day I will take a water sample to the LFS and let them confirm what the proscan says - need to do that when they are out of the holiday rush.

Need to see how I am going to fill the extra light in.

one tile does not cover the entire tank - no surprise.

Now I like where this is heading. Terrible light colour, to look at your tank, but if it makes your plants grow. Why not? There must be a very good reason why thy are used by green house vegetable growers, and back room weed growers

Yeah and taking a decent pic is hard, or I am rather un educated on how to do it at the moment so need to play. At just 14Watt of power, I doubt this is enough energy hitting the leaves, so need to see what I can do add some extra light.

By no means ideal .... but maybe add another spot on the right, I know they do not do great for growth alone, maybe with the RB panel it does the trick.

Ok don't have any g-clamps left, so a cable tie will need to do for now. Light not in the ideal place but one gets the idea.

The g-clamp - thanks to checkers ( always amazed at the price and quality they have vs say a game on these type of items ) is perfect - yeah still using cable ties, but these are the stronger type so semi permanent.

Just the flood lights - doing an ok job as a support light, currently the grow panel and the floods are on separate timers, thinking about doing one light cycle with all the lights on ... hmm.

That sounds like a very good idea. If I would do it I will have the growlight on first, then with the spots, to throw the complete spectrum of lights on the plants, and the spots only.

Cool - thanks for the input.

Ok so separate timers ... - just need to extend some cables on the spots ..

I still have a 12 volt circuit that is now empty - could always to something with that also since all this is now 240 volts.

Weird - and just like that over the last few weeks I have almost no 12 volts led's lights - all are now off the shelf 240volt units.

Loving the buce growth with the grow lights ... so now it is exclusively running them on this tank.

Thanks @MariaS I am rather surprised, my forum and ggl knowledge has always said too much blue and you will get algae ... well still waiting. I have bumped up the fertz ...

No nose on the tank - so maybe I was starving the bacteria and they started dying?

Sitting at a measured TDS of 201 now dropped since yesterday will try and keep it above 200 - so lets see maybe the algae returns and it had nothing to do with the lights just no fertz in the water column.

Thinking about it .. need a few more base readings on the MI probe then add some OC+ tabs.

Quick update ... extra fertz has not caused any algae (yet ?) maybe a bit more growth?

Had some cereal last night .. it comes with 10 1g packets of HOWARU® Premium Probiotics .... but who only eats 45g of cereal as a midnight snack ? Quick math - will have HOWARU left over.

Tank had a pleasing wet grass smell last night - this is good, added the HOWARU® Premium Probiotics - I know I know pulling a VW on my tank. This morning what a lovely wet soil smell it has.
