Have not done much on the tank for a while just letting it be .... Spotted something in the HOB the other day - week or so ago, but thought nothing of it other than a very small guppy fry with odd colors, it was only visible for a few seconds while I was replacing the batting.

But this morning ( yes 01:10 - what else do you do on a Saturday morning ;-) I was very surprised with my early morning lights on to check who's doing OK in the tanks.

Grateful for the new lives in this tank.

Must resit the urge to rescape this tank ... It feels like I am running out of floor space. Biggest reason to not remove some BIG wood; I have now had both BN's and Corries breed in the tank ... eish - plants or fish who comes first.

He he ... yeah this move is not that simple, I first need to find a place to propagate some of the buce to ... esp if I am going to make a mess in the tank.

You might consider getting some zebra loaches to controle the snail population.

Yeah - actually did get some, 4 to be exact - they ended up in the convicts tank. Lucky I spotted the BN fry before adding the loaches ... hopping for a few more BN's from the pair.

I combletely forgot about the bristle noses. The fry would have been gone long before the snails.

Think that was the final move of plants and rocks etc. Well for this week - weekend might have other inspirations.

Playing with tea in this tank again .. I know I know, still ... before a WC

    x1xyFlyvGOqweUQQzDUHbEeeznbE-CsEH_bXoehPvXNwZOWU5TSiFl3F0Udw04wEHSe0iY3W-rJdBMyaQ=w2200-h1238-no.jpg

I decided to pull the HM and replant the crypt babies a bit.

    zXh5yO7wjociVQtL1CFIo9oLYZfV2x1vsZsUcWJ55YYJjUBXbY5uQq8is89UeRvuNd0vcHQFlUPwQcpxQ=w2200-h1238-no.jpg

Running 4 green rooibos bags so a slight tinge in the water, but pleased with the crypt babies.

    EmrgqoQPVrzONx_Dne5HR3SKf85H6R-6bHPwGgEaNle1wWhE2FRTANq8VJ-D_zyfb7MqmO0F3JlUKzKkxg=w712-h1265-no.jpg

These guys are still doing a great job in the tank, but I suspect that they are messy, well more than what I thought they would be.

As for the GSA ... adding a bit more PO4 lets see.

Finally mounted and move the bonzai into the tank.

New anubias leaves on most of the lot .. so keen to see the bonzai transition.

Less snail damage at the moment, but the GSA is everywhere.

not rushing to a BIG WC ... want to let it clean-up on its own, but will look at cleaning canister at some point.
