Ah - yes could be if you are talking about the larger amount of crypts that was send then I think you are correct.

Like when you identified that green crypt in another member's tank, you were correct about that one - I can only find one green big leafed crypt that is available and it's under that name.

He he .. only reason was that somebody else a few years back identified it and I happened to remember some key words in that thread that linked me to the name.

So more like the conversations are relevant the details as to why people have a conversation not so much - for that we ask google.

Tank is filling in nicely ... have some algae getting on the glass and the plants.

Buce is looking real good today ... it needed to ;-)

HM is going crazy infront -- tome ti look at trimming and cleaning a bit.

Yes it is still all just plain old LED strips ... nothing fancy.

Thinking of trying some of this - first time I used it must have been 8 years ago or something like that, they are back in JHB ( made in WC ) some think it is a bit of a snake-oil and the label sure makes it look that way. No realy way of measuring if it works.

Lol yes it is still around.

It sure was heaven for many reasons - lets just call it a simpler life :D ...

I am very pleased I started going down the buce track in this tank it has forced me to look at it totally differently - yes it is still a jungle tank but since I am trying to keep a very easy plant more happy than I would normally try for simple stems etc I am being rewarded with other growth in some of the other plants also.

Maybe I should keep pictorial-tracking for this ground cover ...

Very glad to report I had to move a buce out of one spot because it was being overshadowed by another's growth - on the left is the struggler .

This pic got me excited ... I have some decent runner now  this clump has just slowly been doing its thing - growing.

I can only hope the recovery continues ... I thought for sure this one was lost. See 10 days ago https://www.tropicalaquarium.co.za/threads/36-degrees-900x580x450.22875/page-13#post-367087

Looking at this you might think all is OK in this tank ... [IMG]

New flower / leaves .. loads of green, but

I have this guys encroaching ... might have to pull the tank apart at some point to rid myself of it. Because it is actually even in the BUCE

I"m having the same problem, except it's brown algae everywhere - even on the plants. Waiting for the lady at the LFS to let me know when I can come get my gobies and otos.

The filed of buce is looking just fine at the moment, did a quick check think I lost 3 types ... maybe 2 and I just happened to have a spare rock. Not going to try and see what it was, I am content with what is currently growing here.
