Had to look up their name but I love their wrinkled leaves. I will be on the prowl now to get some. Anubias is definitly my favorite plant.

Found a 3014 strip that was not working, lucky for me it was a bad power wire :) quick solder a new lead and we are all good.

What a difference that added strip (second from the right makes)

Now I am really done for the day on this tank.

@f-fish: I see what appears to be a cory in the last picture - it looks big!!! I have never seen it in your other photos until now in the last one.

Thanks MariaS, rather pleased with the result, Clare this tank actually has 4 of them .. but they only come out typically when food is on offer.

All is good, no new growth under the changed lights but leaves have turned after the placement it would seem.

Yeah better lighting even if its a tiny bit more, does make a big difference. I noticed my tiny anubias typically put out two new leaves in just 3 weeks after i added more pfs - my theory is that the lighter colour of the pfs reflects the led chip lights better, seeing I have low lights unlike the other tank which has an higher spectrum

You may have a point there.
All my tanks have dark substrate, either Seachem Flourite Black, or inert black sand.
I have sufficient light in all the tanks, yet they still appear dark. Adding more light doesn't improve things.
Perhaps I should see whether a lighter substrate won't make a difference.

It sure will, one of the reasons I think why PFS tanks do so well for low tech tanks .. more light than what you think is available in the tank.

@Pezulu: only problem with PFS and high light is that it tends to attract algae of all sorts. I'm battling with my one tank that has a medium light panel and oh joy all that green and brown algae everywhere, despite cleaning everything and 50% water changes once a week. I've even dosed with H202, bleach and excel - not working this time. The cube is ok - low light with PFS, very little brown diatoms.

    Added a "wave" maker ...

Keen to see what a bit more flow gets me.

You can even adjust the amount of glow by moving the sleeve forward.

Most things seem to pass through the back intake .. this is on the light timer so fish will get to rest at night.

Getting the correct rocks - then individually tied ...
end in a mes a few hours later.

best way I might try and keep track is but rock id

it does need to clear up a bit

Will the rocks not be too small as the plant grows bigger?

I would like to bring this tread under the attention of the mods. The pictures and the video is uncalled for and makes other members here extremely uncomfortable and green with envy. Jou gelukkige bliksim. Why did you have to ge a Achillis? Why?
