Once my snail is done cleaning out the problem ill pass him along to some else that has a snail problem, or go sneak him in to a LPS plant tank to help whoever buys fro the tank...

@HugBug I have seen that as well, and they rekon if i shrimp gets caught by an assassin its either dumb, old or just weak and its better to clean the gene pool

@Shabir I had 2 cories die on me a couple of weeks ago and since then i have gotten paranoid and do a daily head count of all the fish, a tank wipe always sucks... But as you live in the UAE,i hope your tank did had water and not sand in it:tt2:

@A new day Ill trim them, cant have those big plant in my tank now, can I?

I’ve had an eye on espei myself, really like the look of them! More than neons tbh.

I went to get the espei and came home with neon tetras. Note to self, don't take the 9 year with when you go to buy fish. Still, I do rather like how the neons look in the tank.
The espei's are awesome though. Still hoping to add them to the bigger tank in future.

Some new inhabitants, cardinal and green tetras. Cant really see them clearly in photos, only difference is the lack of red

Nice, don't think I've ever seen Green Neons available in CT (wanted them for ages). They stay a fair bit smaller than Cardinals.

So I did a DIY CO2 this morning, and also some photos of all my algea growing so nicely since I cant find any otos anywhere...

I have reduced the Lighting period to 8 hours a day and have done all i can to block the sunlight that hits the tank in mornings when my door to the patio is open.
