As for a real monster he also built @Cesar's 3.5m X 1.2m X 850 .... as well as most of what we have...he is brilliant
Give him the size.. shape.. what you want it for and he will give you his advice on what to do to best achieve what you want

Newbie question: how many neons could I keep in this tank?

 

Lol jokes aside a neon tank would look crazy on that size

 

How do you actually (safely) move a tank this size? What does it weigh? I had major stress just moving with my old 1.8m tank.

 

Couple of buddies,volkswagen transporter and a case of beer,a lot of laughs,moaning and growning.Sore fingers and strained backs.At the end of the day its always fun,sort of.

Disassembly would be a option but it leaves you with the cost of reassembly.

 

We moved a 3.6m X 750 X 850 last year

Some LFS's have jacks for this purpose, if you have a good relationship with yours, ask and you might find they lend it to you for the day if they not busy

 

I still cant get over this size @MariaS, thats big enough to swim in!!!

 

Hahahaha.... I Hope we never have to move the 3.6m X 1.2m X 900.....

I think every time we move big tanks my eldest son must curse us!!

 

Hi is this still available and are the edges beveled?, what thickness glass and how what is the base construction

 

description says 12mm double base

 

@Ammar can correct me if Im wrong but knowing who built it, it will be 12mm glass, floating base, braced all along the top and bottom seams as well as vertical seams and bracing across
Workmanship is top class
