I got mine from a guy in Midrand, david@futurelight.co.za, he managed to organise an off cut but usually sell in 5 metre rolls. Mine was not water proof, but I have encased it in a clear tubing and siliconed it both sides, see pics

Ja, that's SMD3528, and it's not the waterproof one...
The IP68 strips are the fully waterproof ones:

it's well priced, has been working under water and above water for over a month with no problems, and I had to cut down to a 10cm strip because 1m was way way way too bright.

Donny, if you like I have strip you can test with if you want has a power supply already attached, remember you can buy a meter length and then cut it every 10cm until you get the effect you want.

It's is very very easy to shorten the strip, there is a little line that says cut here, then you cut on that line and silicone a new endcap on. Just ask for extra encaps when you buy the strip.

Aah, awesome, that's exactly the strips I'm looking for. Well the SMD5050 ones anyway. I'm running on natural light for just short of a year now and I think it's time to get some LED's in my main tank.
