    Beautiful setup. The plans for the lights looks good. Can't wait to see that. I'm thinking of something similar for my new tank. Good luck with the rest.

    Built the frame for the lights.. waiting for glue to dry.. will see how it looks when i get home..

    looks awesome man. you need to get some lilly pipes in there the black just spoils the look.

    i have the exact same frame thing for my lights on my marine tank. i suspended the frame from the roof with some stainless steel cable.

    only difference i got to big fat metal halides sticking out, will change to all T5's when i change the tank

    nice man! i was thinking of suspending my lights like how u did too.. with that "?" hook :p but im going to suspend it using a bent aluminium pipe attached to the cabinet :) thats why my lights are just sitting on the tank for now..

    lilly pipes.. would LOVE them.. im going back to taiwan in may to get married so i'll defn take a look there!!:p hehe..

    @SHiBBY 's right.. chi new yrs is 7 days long.. usually the only time the whole nation comes to a litteral stand still..

    bought substrate at exotic pets in boksburg! will send u pm with details..

    Year of the rabbit - my Chinese birth/zodiac sign - happy new year @shihr....mate,if you havent been in Taiwan round this time,you havent lived!!! the feasts in the street(12 course food and more than enough beer to fill a 5 foot at least!),the happy people...want to be THERE right now... and yeah,nothings gonna happen for a week or so from now.....
    Happy new year @shihr - hope the girlfriend cleaned the house yesterday and that you didnt cry today.... also hope you avoided knives .... G'luck in this,one of the luckiest years....

    what the hell.. haha.. umm, my gf posted that previous post.. @azurekoi, i had to speak to abt 40 of my family members.. this time of yr is always hard.. my whole family is back and all thats left is me here.. my gf hasn moved in yet so i had to clean the house :p haha..

    i know exactly what u talking abt.. went back last yr and i really didn want to leave :( family and cheap aquarium stuffs! what else would u ask for? haha..

    anyways.. back on topic..

    i finally took the plundge to plant yesterday!

    must have planted 200 plantlets of glosso.. now i know why i was so reluctant on planting! :p hahaha.. anyways.. its done..
