Keep the pic coming. Reading someones step by step tank build is so thrilling! I had the white fungi on my grape vine as well. Its slowly going away. But it doesnt affect the fish does it?

Haha Sorry, i posted this after only reading the first page lol

Hey. i found an interesting topic on the reef site about alanod. im not sure if im allowed to post a link here, but you can pm me if you want to. Alanod is a really soft aluminium that looks like a mirror, i think it would work great for your diy t5 lights. and there are some interesting chatter about diy t5 lights.

looks great man, what you gonna do about the water level, ADA tanks are always filled to the brim (need to keep up on the top ups :) ), also if the water level is right to the top you wont have to worry about ugly water marks

:) no planting as yet then... good luck, got some excess Val-Spiralis any maybe some Hydro-polysperma. The problem is how to get them down.

Very nicely done! I'm thinking when I drain my tank to move, I'm gonna do some proper aquascaping before adding my fish again...

That scape is going to be awesome once you get some vegetation in there. It looks very very similar to something I saw on the Practical Fishkeeping site...
