Seems like I have another weekend in tank rescape project going.



Things for a little crazy as seen above.



removed the plants .... aaahhh feel inplace substrate cleaning and reduction is a MUST.



This is a bit better .. about half the PFS removed



filled and added some wood .. will let it clear before the plants are added back.

LFS crawl got me some green stuff for the tank ... langa a previous purchase ...



Need to let is clear ... did place the other plants back but that has loads of BBA as camouflage

Added some purigen behind the HMF, not loads of flow but I am in no hurry.




The gutter light cover is working a treat - why did I wait so long to do them ??



Also added an extra 2ft LED 10watt tube on the right ..



Extra light on the right corner should help with a bit of growth.

@f-fish How many tanks do you have? Curious to know.

 

17 in the fishroom ... will keep these going during winter another 18 outside that are being shut down for winter and 7 that are in need of TLC to bring back to life - maybe this year - I have binned 6 tanks that just are not worth the effort migh do a few more.

So realistically 35 holding water at the moment.

Always thought its an unwritten rule not to ask

 

nah ... having an idea of a persons addiction when it comes to MTS helps with understanding certain behaviors.

As an example - I loose interest in a tank / project then it is not because I am getting out of the hobby - but maybe I found something better in the room to focus on. Also allows on to run long term slow grow / low maintenance projects.

One thing I like about the hobby - if I want to I can still learn something new everyday.

Wow thats awesome, I hope to have a fish room one day - was thinking about getting a container office or wendy house . Must be really nice to be able to experiment with all the different fish, plants, scapes, etc...

 

it has its challenges ... but start small and get buy in from those around you

 

new leaves on the new plants ... did expect the BN's to do a better job on the glass.
