They'll live in fear with the oscars,
at least for a while. They are about
70mm long, Archers are relatively high strung
untill they settle. I have the one shooting
crickets from my fingers.

I intend to keep a big shoals of only
silver scats, and the two type of mono's.

Bought another four mono sebae (the yellow
ones) yesterday and going to get 3 more
silver scats today.

So I need "space" in the tank.

 

no guys ,Archers are not allowed as food stuff .if all else fails ill take the archers from you at marketvalue and make a plan to get them a proper home.

 

Fish are friends not food (Didn't you watch Nemo??)

 

I'd rather keep them, don't worry!

Are the archers and scats and monos freshwater or brackish?

 

Brackish, currently about 25%
of full marine (thanks Andre)

I saw some awesome red
and green scats at Animal
Kingdom in Atterbury (if not allowed
plse mod) never seen so many
large specimens together.

Really tempting, but I had
some bad runs with red/green scats.
The look fine, eat well with
good colouration and then
the next day, they are discoloured
and dead.

I won't buy small R5 coins
sized ones again.

 

On the weekend we saw scats and monos at Pet a Pond in Lynnwood, Pet City in Montana, Animal Kingdom, and I think they had them at Wonderboom Bird Park and Aquarium. All different prices and quality. Animal Kingdom had big ones but they looked to be in a bad condition.
