    I bought the 2 tanks but this 1200mm is way too big for me. I’ll use the 800mm one. It came with a Cascade1000 filter, but I don’t know anything about this outside filters.
    Any advise on the filter?

    @newbie good luck with finding it though I spent a good 30minites on Google trying to find one and this is as close as I got...

    @Zoom, sorry I missed your post Ashley. I agree with you, 8mm will be a better bet. The focus here is to keep it cheap. 6mm with full euro bracing should handle it. I'll be keeping it BB with sponge filters and a heater. Nothing else, But yeah, now you just making me nervous! Maybe I should go 8mm...

    Dude you would be crazy to buy a used 1.2m tank for R 1000.00....
    I'm probably going to end up building more than one to finish all the silicone. Anyone who wants a standard 4ft in black sillicone can pm me.
