Plants do beter with lower k rating. Corals and plants dont have anything in common. So those high k rating isnt good for plants.

yes these are cool white bulbs, going to add 2x 10000k bulbs also then the water wont look tea stained
filteration is allot also the original hood filter, eheim 2228 cannister 1200LPH wavemaker and 400lph dophin internal filter
