Maybe make a metal brace around the top of the tank with a center bar. Just gives it that extra strength.

Yup 65000k is not meant for Marine but they do have 10000K LED floodlights too which will work perfectly.
@Hammerhead, i have read of people using all types but try stick to 65000K and PW or CW. I read that if your tank is deeper that 60cm you can use...
