An excellent project @EnvironmentalBro! The hard work definitely yielded great results. Looking forward to more updates over time and any future...
I like this method, obviously a test kit to confirm is good but I've found this reliable :D
Agreed with Pierre. Many fish are able to lighten or darken their colour to some degree to blend in to their surrounds. Some can change patterns...
There's also the upstairs section of Perky Pets on Diep River main road. Small but worth a look. I remember Royal Aquatics from back in the day....
Sorted, thanks.
@Nick Sounds good, can you do 9:00/9:30? Got to leave Stellenbosch by 10:30 latest so earlier is better.
I'm in Stellenbosch but going between there and Cape Town (moving house) quite often.
All 4 fish are free, except costs of transport. Brackenfell is close enough that we can make a plan for meetup/collection/delivery :)
Bump for free fish :) Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
Bump, any takers? Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

Very nice Oscars and setup there. My Oscars always used to uproot Vallis and then try to plant it again, unsuccessfully...
Nice selection, hope some arrive in my area...
Great work!
Beautiful fish, always liked them. Hope the move to new home goes smoothly.
Great looking fish. I'm in collection distance, will be thinking about it :)
Welcome to the forum, also a catfish lover. Recently got a Colombian Woodcat :) You might need a minimum number of posts before you can start...
[ATTACH] [ATTACH] Only two pics I could get with the fish actually in view. [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Seems to be a trend with catfish that they gorge themselves as much as they can, my tiger shovelnose was a prime example.
Haha, will try get a few later, the woodcat is very good at obscuring itself amongst plants and under driftwood...
