If they are healthy and well fed every couple of months you should get fry.
Good point, they are also a bit larger as well. You have to add another larger fish in with them or they will not school

Depending on the fish I keep I choose a different substrate. Discus for example, I use a very thin layer if PFS. Other tropical fish I go for gravel.

Hi I went with a 1000w inverter and a 102amp deep cycle batory. Works well for me. These are kept in another room not far from the tank....
