I had mine in for about 3 years - it won't stop. Purigen works well to kill tannins though
Looks good. Mopani will leak tannins for years, just a heads up.

You'll need a lot of fish to seriously outdo your filtration. I had a betta and 12 kuhlis on a simple sponge filter for a while and all were fine.
I kept an eye out but didn't see any of those :(

I usually dose 3% at 1-2ml a day on my 60l, I turn off the filter for 15 minutes before then spot dose with a syringe.
