All canisters come with recommended tank size guidelines ...best look at that if you are not sure if it will work. Just way too many factors that...
I actually forgot that shimmer that aqua zyme gives your water, Bentonite Clay being the main ingredient, while one would assume it is not...

Agree .. the bolbitis is way easier to grow than say java fern. Luck13 is an open tank .. shelf is just the the way it is with a high back glass...

Mine is luck ... I pulled the rock from the tank, pulled what was growing on it off - hmm thought I did, then reused the rock on the shelf a while...

Trick with eggcrate ... make sure it is on the bare tank glass .. do not want a bit of sand under it - that could cause a crack later on. Later...
