the deep seeded bacteria in the existing gravel bed will do wonders for that tank... adding a handfull of mature gravel has been known to clear...
i think that will probably mean the tank will be a bit cloudy at worst, but with all those sunsun filters i'd be surprised if it wasnt clear again...
it does happen, dont feel too down about it, i usually silicone the pieces back together very lightly, so as not to make a bulge but it works.
