    Definitely a test kit. I found that it took the hobby to another level for me and it really enables you to learn more about stocking levels, Fish compatibility and health.

    One test kit that is a great help is Seachem Alert Combo, it continuously monitors your PH and Ammonia levels, a bit expensive but last at least 6 months +

    I don't mind stocking as it will be light on the ammount of filtration and plants i will have. Tank will have neons and shrimps which isn't that heavy
