Weirdsteam's Betta's

Aqarium Silicone is used to silicone the deviders in place. I built the tank myself.

 

Finished my Multi Betta tank I just need to add the polisterene base. 36 hours of drying time


I am still deciding if i want to drill the tank or build an overflow for the sump. Heating will be in the sump

Thats a fantastic build dude. I would expect to have paid more for that from an LFS :top:

 

Thanks Sash, You going to pay more for just a bare 2ft tank. Thats why i build my own tanks.

 

ja but remember lfs are there to make money... a good lfs makes money on the tanks,pumps,food ect not really off the fish (keep in mind im saying Good LFS the ones that do care for there life stock)

 

what is the black parts being used as deviders?. looking good cant wait to see betta's in it

My red male VT shows lots of interest in my Blue CT female. Lets hold thumbs

 

I need some advice from experienced Betta breeders,

my Red VT male built a stunning bubble nest,Put my Blue CT female in with him in his tank, he showed lots of interest while she was in the chimney, left them overnight, nest is even more impressive the next morning, he is showing his sides to the female she is showing her vertical bars, so i released the female into the tank.

At first there is no aggression then he started chasing here around the tank, watched them, left her over night in with him, next morning her fins, are torn up she is hiding in the corner, so i removed her and place her back into her own tank.

Decided to try my Red HM female with him seeing that there is no eggs in the bubbles,

Same process same result.
Huge nest no eggs.....



What do i do now?
