Similis shell dweller cichlid

Does anyone knows where I can find similis?

 

My friend is also interested in some. I think if we could get a few interested we could get an order going through a supplier

Check out samaki kings. They are based in Joburg and import wild caught Tanganyikan fish. Currently I know they a currently have multis but maybe they can get similis in their next import.

 

I'll check with a friend of mine if he still breeds these fish...was a couple of years ago though.

Had a chat with him and he doesn't have his anymore and said that they're hard to come by at the moment. There will need to be demand for them in order to import some. I'll suggest you perhaps reach out to Nick at Hartland Aquatics in Riebeek Kasteel, as well as Richard at Aqua Empire in JHB to ask them if they can get for you.

No problem. I'll keep my ear on the ground too...they are quite nice fish. My friend's one tank only had them in it, looked very beautiful.
