    Hi,

    One of my colleagues, went on a 4 week tour of Africa in December on his motorcycle and made a stop at Senga bay, Lake Malawi and took some photos of the lake and the local fish farm, see photos below (with his permission I uploaded the photos):

    wow, thats incredible, great pics of the amazing scenery, oh and the pics of the lake are good too :bigsmile:. Can"t wait for the video.

    Great pics!
    I am fortunate enough to have been there a few times in the early nineties. I met Stewart Grant, who me took on on the grand tour of his Kambiri Point fish farm/ holding facility.
    After the tour he introduced me to somebody who just came back from a diving expedition to film new-to-science species - Ad Konings!
    I also spent time with Saulos Mwale, head diver. Saulos had two species of Lake Malawi cichlids named after him at that time, Pseudotropheus saulosi and Aulonocara saulosi.
    Needless to say, I had the time of my life!

    now this is awesome...i always wanted to go to malawi, would be like a kid in a candy store!!!

    those red top fuelleborni in the pond look cool. pity there are no pics of any Fossorochromis Rostratus or aulonocara

    Im green...he he he. My bucket list has for a long time included a trip to dive and visit the lake. Maybe someday i will.....
