A pair of L333 at that price would be steeling it not buying it!

    Hi everyone

Today I come with very very disappointing news.
After 4 mths of tedious and sometimes frustrating and irritating planning and considering-I now have to announce that this order will not be going ahead.
Unfortunately, due to some unexplainable reasons the freight from Hungary is just insane at the moment. So much so that it simply does not make economical aense to import the fish at all.

Believe me I have gone to great lengths to try and establish the cause of this, and have been given some of the most ludicrous reasons, ranging from OR Tambo being a high risk freight destination, to ISIS causing freight transport costs from Eastern europe to escalate dramatically.

All things considered though we are €10.60 per kilogram above the standard accepted rate.
This equates to a very large increase in prices. Per box it will be be almost R4000 more expensive than it should be, and that is not worth it. At present it means fish I was hoping to land at R200 will now suddenly cost R300. Thats a 50% increase on some, and on some of the fish it will be even higher.

So guys, Im really sorry that this is falling flat - but believe me I am probably much more disappointed than anyone else.

    Kindest regards

    Marco

Sorry it had to fall on it's head Marco...maybe in a few months when the Rand, oil prices and the ISIS threat stabilizes you can try again. Thanx to the circus that was the State of the Nation address and the theatrics that's followed since in the parliament...SA is seen by the western world as a "risk". Not to mention the incompetence of some Custom Clerks...once the shipment lands

So sad, but thank you so much for all your effort and please don't feel bad! I think we're all extremely grateful for your hard work and effort, and hopefully at some point in the future it will be possible to try again.

Guys sending the stuff to Durbs or CT is no problem. Pls just dont ask me to send 1 Long fin Neon to Cape town....thats not gonna happen
But if we can increase it to a manageable order then sure its possible.

    Tx
