Please identify

    Hi so a friend of myne has these worms in his tank they crawl along the glass.

    Do they crawl or wriggle swim?

    The former sounds like planaria. The latter would be detritus-worms which are nothing to worry about. Planaria on the other hand is a nightmare

    Crawl like a leach, tank is only a few months old.

    You have to post it elsewhere and share the link. But definitely sounds like planaria. Do a Google search and try to identify from there

    Thanks, must be juvies cause they don't look the same size as the ones in vids I see, if so how does one get rid of them.

    You could use a product called no planaria. It works well

    Corry catfish usually take care of Planaria
    Though they don't like a substrate of rough gravel

    You can also dose with BastaPlanaria. It is cheap and a single bottle will probably last you a lifetime. It is shrimp friendly. I managed to sort out two tanks with this stuff in a week.

    The problem is he has danios and shrimps in his tank
