@JCL for sure, if any one has extra plans for more names, then lets do it. We have a swop meet this weekend, will come up with plans.

 

Cool, i think its a good steady count. If we all do our bit we will get there.

 

@HennieRoux -I expect this petition to gain momentum slowly. Tomorrow I will visit 3-4 LFS and discuss it with them.

We had our (APSA) swop meet about 2 weeks ago in CT, would have been a good opportunity.

Nevertheless, I am sure we will exceed our target, ...will just have to bug forum members, acquaintances, family, friends and enemies. -Lol

Let me quickly share some light here, just so everyone understands.

We are looking @ 3 Species or Genrae of Shrimp, those 3 are
Cardina
Neocardina
Solowesi

This should cover the more popular ones that we would like to keep.

So once we get 1000 signatures, we will forward it to The Department of Agriculture, they will then have to get the Impact asessement done on those species, and should then be able to tell us if they will be a high risk on our enviroment or not.
From there we will or hopefully get them on the white list, and be legal for importation.

So it is still a long way to go, and a road to travel. But we will get there!
