I'd like to start this thread for us to post any interesting fish seen at your local LFS. This way we can help each other find the less common species we may be interested in. No need to mention LFS name, as any one can PM the posting member for that info.

    So to kick-off:

Spotted Silver Dollars @ R 120.00 each. East Rand.

This was at my lfs a few weeks ago.
I think there is a lot of mis-identification with these so called fresh water soles. A lot of them a potentially brackish.

I saw some for R90 EACH!! Sterbas Cories are so expensive. I wish mine would breed, but I suspect the eggs are being eaten.

Sterbai seem to be more expensive than the "usual" (bronze, pandas etc) Corries.

Thanks @JJFury Ive just bought two. But in the next tank there were a pair of Corys which looked just like sterbas ( i could hardly tell the difference) but labeled as melini corys. As far as I know melinis look more like pandas. Anyone have an idea what they really are?

They also have Ottos there, in case someone is looking

Probably Julii. Melini corys look like Bandit corys.
