Hey guys this is a serious question.it might sound silly to some but how do I get them to stop breading.

I adopted them from a friend that's how I got into the hobby still very new to it.., then they got nice and bright and started bullying the other fish, that's when I moved the other fish to a different tank. I did this thrice and now I'm sitting with 3 pairs and all of them have fry, I tried feeding the fry to the different pairs but that was a bust because they adopted them instead.

Please I need help! Aaaah... Lol
I even removed the heaters but these guys don't care, they just reproduce. My neighbor was kind enough to give me this pendulum-shaped tank so I'm just tossing the fry in there.

That could be a really good stable colony starter for a pond

Lol I tried the all male tank but that's the type of aggression I've only seen in humans, the females are chilled thou.

Is it even legal to take them to a pond...?
It doesn't sit well with me.
    Invasive species.
    No I couldn't do that

It's either find new homes or build a pond or 600L tank.

Or start handing them out to kids in bags or buckets with some fish for and instructions lol.
Bet I could make some parents real mad

Yeah I think Shabir meant build your own pond. We’d never release into the wild etc.

Yup, never release fish into the wild.

Maybe you could add a catfish of sorts
    Might help control numbers

Lol apologies for mis-understanding and I managed to find a home for 40 of them, so that's awesome news, still 246 to find homes for

I'll definitely look into getting a nice small catfish but ill have to do my research first, jewels ate very aggressive and I saw that first hand because the killed one of my other fish, he was full of holes the morning when I went to feed them

Well guys I am pleased to say that I only have a hand full of fry left which I plan on keeping, the rest are all in new homes, so here the silly questions comes, please don't judge but how do I keep them from breading
