A 200W heater will be more then enough. It's summer so your temp will not flucuate that much.

Put it on 22 and see till what temperature it goes to. Ftom their on you adjust. I would say 26 is a bit high. I run my tanks on 23c.

@Kieshara how is the filling up going? Stable? What filtration will you be using for this tank?

What are you planning on to stock it with?
Remember to budget on filter equipment and a test kit.
No use in splurging money on fish then they off and you keep on spending more and more.

It seems you have a budget if you want Discul lol
How long or experienced are you?
That will determine what fish we can go for @Kieshara

Well about 11 years ago i had 3 fish tanks... One with sharks, cats, pleco and barbs... The one one had goldfish in and the 3 rd one had all my guppies on.... Sold them all when we moved.... I had a huge tank but the wind knocked it over and broke it...

Okay let's rather start on hardy fish so that we can just get back to the basics. i would suggest a community tank with platy's, guppies, mollies with a few danio's .
There you will get lively and colorful fish and which are hardy.

For that size tank we can stay there. Terra tank can also work @Kieshara

Tank is waaay to small for discus, sharks and angels etc.
Rather get tetras or barbs, or even some livebearers. Sailfin mollies would be nice in that sized tank. Also, through out the corner filter and rather get a hang on back filter or canister filter.

As @Firefly said. Make sure you get a proper filter or HOB. A canister filter of around about 500l per hour will do the job.
Make sure you get the right filter media!

I think so. Maybe get new gravel as well to get the most natural look as you want to add driftwood.
