    Thanks @salim

Here is a photo of one of the leopards. It seems as though the red striations are now breaking up to form rings.

Come now Andrew no need to be modest that is a A grade fish and yes mate those ring are looking perfect I think you and I need to have a serious chat before I leave to Nam, about relieving you of 2 or 3 of those leopards and sparing you the disgust of having to look at them all day.

HaHaHaHa don't worry I will bring some beer along to make negotiations a lot smoother and we can talk about giving me a warning for the punt.

    Thanks Candice

Its been 6 months of dedication and personal sacrifice to get them to where they are. They landed from Malaysia at the beginning of March as 4.5-5cm juvies and I just hooked out the dominant one to measure him and he already has a SL of 14cm. Hopefully I will still get some additional growth out of him as he is only 8-9months old at the moment.

    Trickle filter.jpg

Ok, thought I would show what filtration I am using on this grow out tank. Its a custom trickle filter which has various filtration media which I have accumulated over the years. Bottom layer is approx 16litres alfa-grog, 22litres of Siporex ( not ceramic rings ), 2litres of @Seachem pond matrix and 5 litres of zeolite. I know its a bit of an overkill, but the stuff has been lying around so I thought I may as well use it all. And at least this way, I have plenty of media seeded with bacteria should i need to whip a bag out and set up a new tank quickly.
