Clown knife fish

howzit guys

does anyone have experience or currently keep clown knife ??

I got mine about a month ago and I'm loving him, the weird way the swim and I personally feel wanna of the best looking fish !!!
mine id sbout 15cm got him at about 12cm

does anyone know the growth rate of these guys and preferred foods I currently feed him prima and blood worms at night

any extra info would be awesome

I have one, went from around 15cm to 30cm in a couple (5) months, they grow fast! They can reach 90cm, 60cm - 70cm is probably normal in a tank. I hope you have a adequate sized tank. Mine used to eat bloodworms, a block in one bite, it now eats Hikari Jumbo Carnisticks, (which is unusual, they normally feed from the bottom), Hikari Massivore, and whatever else it can fit in its mouth, last night it swallowed a Hikari Algea Wafer, which are big, don't underestimate the size of the mouth, its huge.

Its an interesting fish, and a very aggressive hunter, do not introduce small fish, they will disappear overnight. I only see mine at night, or early morning, otherwise its in its cave. Provide some form of a hiding or a 110mm PVC pipe for it to take cover during the day, they are nocturnal by nature, and need to be able to get away from light during the day.
