    What Ferts are you using?
I am not an expert in the field but with my tank I have realised you need a good fertiliser, substrate and good lighting..

Could it be a co2 problem?

I have a low tech tank so, I don't use Co2 supplements. I use osmocote. I know that not all plants enjoy Flourish excel. Let us wait for the senior guys to help

So I think the problem does lie in lack of fertiliser .

How long have you had the tank? I'm no expert on planted tanks, but I do know many plants need a "recovery" period after they are planted where they may lose leaves etc.. It's generally recommended to trim off the unhealthy leaves to allow the plant to stop wasting energy trying to save the leaves..

@f-fish and all the other planted tank Guru's will be able to advise better.. :)

Also, 12 hours seems a bit long for the lights from what I've read.. Maybe cut down to about 8?

I know you get fert tablets which you bury in your substrate.. Should be available at your LPS..
