    Absolutely. plants DO NOT need a cycled tank. Just declorinated water.

    The olive oil works like a bom! Thanks. Vaseline works well too, its just a mission to apply.

    Just one question though ,my canisters run from bottom to top...what big difference would it be obviously the first tray would be mechanical. ..Do you put the floss or the black sponge first...I just re-arranged my Resun 800 three tray canister like this...bottom... black sponge & floss on top of that , then some Purigan , then last the Matrix...is this correct @Zoom ?
