    Hi All

I am looking at buying one of these for my 2ft planted tank,(busy slowly building up to high tech) not bothered by getting a second had one.

Just want to know what experience everyone has had with them, are they good value for moeny or should I be looking at something else?

Thank you for thee feedback, would it be better to go for the 50F or the 60F in terms of light coverage?

If youre going hi tech, the higher wattage will always help

For high tech, the more wattage the better. I added another led light to my high tech setup and im getting more intense red on my plants

Go for the 60F it makes a big difference on my high tech 60p i run two 60F, they work well
see a pic below of two 60F on a 2ft tank it can give you idea of the light the 50F is smaller so coverage wont be as good

Yes I’d also go for the 60F.

and Pricing wise, any retailers that have exceptional prices? so far cheapest I have found is R1050

@Nirvashen tahns for the photos, gives me a good idea of what I wanted to achieve in terms of lighting, do you run both lights on Max output?

Not sure if this is the same light?

I don't run them at 100% each of them at 60% back and 70% front white light only, I find that when running with reds and white led's I seem to get algae.
and they are the same light as what I have

so I got a 2nd hand light from @Carmen for a good price, thanks!

@Carmen @Nirvashen what would you recommend in terms of intensity and time wise for a med tech setup (Ferts and have a few plants like pearl weed, no C02, yet...)

I would start at 6 hours (i only run 6 hours never more) , and if it is a single light then 80% bright on white leds , you can increase it to 100% as you need.
