Zebra Pleco

Is there any Imperial Zebra Pleco or Royal Pleco in South Africa? :wondering:

Yes there are. Prep the vaseline, you going to pay huge prices for a very small fish

 

But they are worth it, beautiful
I always look for them when Im in the shops.
The day I find one, its gone.....

 

You wont find them in a shop. 2k plus for a fish thats around the 4cm mark, I highly doubt LFS owners would take that risk

 

I have looked in every shop i know of and no one not even the big importers can help...
Local LFS dont have them.

Well there were some brought in some time back and think they were under 1k.

 

i believe they land at 6cm for +- R3600

 

UA in Pe had a Royal plec last month at R400 and they had a zebra plec about a year ago at R1400. not bad prices but a bit rich for me but they are around if u prepered to pay

 

Reafer - it wont be a true zebra plec at that price

 

I've seen for 650.00

 

Zebra plecs for R650?! you have to be kidding... maybe a king tiger but not a true L046

 

its highly impossible to find any under R1000, it there are please share the details!

the average list price is about R2000 for a small 3-4cm L046 plus shipping costs so you should expect to pay R2500 - R3500 min!

 

Dolphin - i believe one of the other sponsors was planning on importing and selling them at R2800

 

Insane there must be way better things to spend R3500 on
