    Hi Guys

I have a yellow lab in my tank and for some reason she looks very thin. She eats pretty well by I think that she has a worm or something cause all the other fish is just out growing her. Any advice??

    Regards
    Rod

How long since this has occurred?

I don't know....might be carrying eggs. They are mouth brooders. They probably can cross with any other labidochromis so if you have any other Yellow labs or other labidochromii then you're almost successful in breeding these fish...wait a few weeks to see the babies in the mouth...

    Don't get excited....

Without a picture and input from more experienced users here, you may not know for sure what's happening.

    Regards

Hi Rod, Are you talking of a hollow stomach? I have found that once a fish gets this, more than likely due to poor feeding habits or internal worms/parasites, unless treated correctly, the fish will eventually die.
Look at the foods you are feeding. I know the Tetra/Sera/Nutrafin/HBH and Omega One foods are a liitle more expensive but try and put the fish one its own and feed one of the foods I have mentioned. At the same time treat for internal worms/parasites/bacteria etc. Jungle parasite clear together with the Sera Baktopur medication should help. Let us know how you fair!
