My tank is currently 60cm tall... and my arm just makes it to the bottom when I need to work on the tank...

I saw a tank this weekend that is twice that tall... how do you put your gravel in, place rocks, fix plants ect in a very tall tank that size?? :amazed:

Shop owner reckons you would need to get into the tank :wondering:

Sorry for the questions, I'm a tad bored at work...

Good question! I am re-scaping my tank - 60cm high. My arms don't even reach the bottom & I'm trying to get all the gravel out. Lucky my son has
    - LOL - so he can help. I've thought of getting inside but I'm sure that would crack the bottom or the cabinet or both

Always a problem with tall tanks.

Please make sure you use a sturby chair/ladder when reaching in... last thing you need is a chair/ladder slipping...

Why get a midget to help reach the bottom of a 60cm tank, if you can't
you are already a midget :)

My tank stand is about 60 and my tank 64 I think and I reach the bottom just fine
I do have to roll up my sleeves though not to get them wet.

All you shorties need a extending window washer, braai tongs and diving goggles
    and your sorted.

My tank is 80cm high and the stand 1.2 m. I stand on a chair and then use different tools to plant and move rocks and driftwood. Putting in the substrate was a mission; my kids loaded icecream bucket after icecream bucked and handed it to me on the chair. My syphon for gravel vacs is that tall one and the prosses really kills my back.
