Wood and stanning your watter

The wood commonly used for tanks often is turned by aqauarists as they see it stains the water now i know there is no sure way to prevent this from happening but i found a article which seems to have helped me im sure it would assist all you other avid fish collectors i did this methog in a empty Plastic pond i had and change the water daily

Yea we all should i found it to work

 

my 2m tank has had 2 small pieces of bogwood in it for 2 months. previously it was in a 4ft for 6months and before then was in a 3ft cube (complete cube, up, down and sideways). it still leaches into my tank even though i ran 1kg of AC in it.

to me it will leach always...unless its been in a tank for like 400 years.LOL

lol dude thats the problem read what it says constant water changes no fish just water changes over and over and over then yes i have had it work
