Wild Olive Burl

    Had to share this.

    Bought this resin infused Wild Olive burl for a knife handle which I am busy making and decided to cut the wood this afternoon into 2 pieces.
    Now I dont know if it should go on the knife anymore or go into a glass case.

    That is stunning. Wild olive really has amazing grain structure. Not 100% certain i like the blue resin, i personally would have gone for clear. For a pair of knife scales it should be amazing, but will need to be something with a pretty substantial handle to really show it off.
